Final Considerations (An Ode to Philosophy)
What object am I That launched firmly in one direction Looses no velocity As a particle flung through space and time Philosophy that life particle of mine Launched in a single solid direction
Hurled with such great initial force As to journey a perfect trajectory Streaming in constant silence A perfect perpetuum With such tremendous onward motion Gliding in harmony With all of the consummate forces of this universe
And I Such a part of this all Dared to withhold this anxious force Released Hurled with unremitting force She is irretrievably free Lost as a lover consents another’s love
Yeah, the question of right and wrong Drawls long before the inert But I only ask As time lays me near a dark space To hear my most sacred words
Perficio Well done, Eric Well done.
